The Miroir d'Eau (Water Mirror) in Bordeaux is a stunning attraction known for its reflective surface and artistic misting effects. However, during my visit, I was disappointed to find it out of service and completely dry, which detracted from the experience.
Design: The structure is beautifully designed, creating a striking visual against the backdrop of the Place de la Bourse.
Itâs recognized as the largest reflecting pool in the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage site, making it a must-see for visitors.
Unfortunately, the absence of water meant that I could not enjoy the iconic mirror effect or the refreshing mist that typically enhances the atmosphere. This was a letdown, as the attraction is primarily known for these features.

   Read moreI've got to say it was incredibly underwhelming. It's a nice location with a decent atmosphere, but honestly it's literally just a very shallow (like seriously, a few centimeters tops), very large, pool of water.
Perhaps I missed the point... It's kind of cool but honestly very missable. I can see how it may appeal to families with young children who may enjoy stepping in it, but not much more...
