Bab-El Harra — Local services in Carcassonne

This small Syrian Épicerie has it's entrance from the Rue du Pont Vieux in Carcassonne. With the big display window on the other road.

Access for PMR there is a GIC parking bay opposite the entrance.

Their speciality foods available are clearly marked on the panel outside the shop. I have shown in 1 photo a selection of Baklava. Which were delicious. I also found some fresh Houmous seen In a photo with Tahini & Halawa Pistachio.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The épicerie is small, clean and fully stocked.

We had the Falafel Wrap & Shawarma Chicken Wrap, which were freshly cooked to order, very generous portions, absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. A lovely, clean, shop which also stocks a selection of middle eastern foods goods, which were very tempting, and chilled drinks and ice creams. Friendly service, and highly recommended! We were looking for a simple meal and found it here. Had the chicken wrap and fries with yogurt dip on the side. Delicious! This is mainly a grocery store with Middle-Eastern goods with a couple of tables inside. Interesting selection of products, including large jars of Carkady (hibiscus tea, my favorite).
