Come chef italiano, con un’esperienza di quattro anni in Francia, so quanto possa essere difficile trovare una buona pizza in questo Paese. Proprio per questo motivo, tendo a evitarla quando sono qui. Tuttavia, durante una vacanza a Carcassonne, sono rimasto colpito dalle foto di una pizza su un menù e ho deciso di provarla. Devo dire che è stata una piacevole sorpresa: una pizza eccezionale! Uno stile napoletano rivisitato per andare incontro ai gusti francesi, che prediligono un bordo più basso e croccante rispetto al classico cornicione napoletano. Parlando con Priscà, la pizzaiola, ho scoperto che ha studiato a Napoli, il che spiega la qualità e l’autenticità della base e delle tecniche utilizzate. Gli ingredienti del topping erano di altissima qualità, ben equilibrati, scioglievoli in bocca, e l’impasto era leggero e altamente digeribile. Per un amante della pizza come me, devo ammettere che persino in Italia non è sempre facile trovare pizze di questo livello. Se cercate una pizza straordinaria durante il vostro soggiorno a Carcassonne, ora sapete dove andare. Complimenti davvero a Prisca e a suo marito per aver portato l’arte della pizza italiana in Francia con così tanto rispetto e passione.

Nous avons passé ce vendredi 12 juillet une soirée extraordinaire De Toulouse nous étions venus retrouver notre fils et nous nous sommes fiés aux différents avis laissés sur cette pizzeria exceptionnelle mais jamais on aurait pensé passer une aussi bonne soirée Ils sont tous les deux d’une gentillesse incroyable et très agréables et de bons conseils et que dire des pizzas, elles sont succulentes faites avec des produits très frais et de qualité. La patronne a un savoir-faire pour marier certains ingrédients donnant un goût incomparable provoquant un feu d’artifice en bouche et la pâte est excellente elle fond littéralement. L’endroit est plus destiné « à l’emporter «  car l’emplacement intérieur est restreint et donc très peu de tables disponibles donc n’hésitez pas à téléphoner pour commander ou à y aller Patrick vous fera la discussion en attendant la fabrication de votre pizza Excellente pizzeria nous y retournerons avec très grand plaisir

Fancied a takeaway pizza for our last night in Carcassonne. Ordered 3 - Reine, Veggie and Chorizo. Very friendly proprietor who was very happy I could speak French because he struggled with English (fair enough, it is France so added an extra star for friendliness). Came back 30 minutes later to collect the pizzas which were still in the oven. When they came out they had no toppings on, which were then added, cold, to the pizza! Why? I get it for the edible flower and rocket salad... but why the tomatoes, ham and cheese etc? Made the pizza cold. Also very salty. Unfortunately not very tasty and cold and a bit of a soggy base. Shame...we ended up eating less than half and throwing the rest away. Sorry my friendly proprietor... you may be happy and chatty but the food is...

Awful service and attitude. I’m very surprised by some of the positive reviews here. Tried to order from this place while on holidays with my family, I was sick in my hotel room and called as my hotel said they usual do delivery. A man answered and told me I had to go to the restaurant and hung up on me. So I called back and said I would go collect it and he said not for another 1.5 hours as he was too busy. I explained I was sick and that my daughter was hungry etc and he didn’t care, he said he was too busy and not his problem. I have never had an experience like this and definitely will not be recommending this place to anyone purely because of his lack of empathy or...

Really disappointed. Despite the good reviews the basic margherita pizza base is made first and once it comes hot out the oven the cheese and some toppings are put on top straight from the fridge so are completely cold. You therefore get a cooled pizza with lumps of cold toppings and Cheese which is just bizarre. I’ve never had a pizza where the Cheese isn’t cooked on it in the oven and I’ve travelled all over Italy & Europe for work. Sadly we had takeaway before catching a train so didn’t have time to go back. If the owner is reading this I’d really appreciate a refund for our completly...
