I’m a loyal Gucci customer and have shopped at their stores all around the world. Unfortunately, my recent experience was incredibly disappointing. Once again, my Gucci sunglasses broke, and I went to the store hoping to get assistance.
As soon as I arrived, the security guard told me that they couldn’t help me and that the service center was closed until September. He rudely suggested I go to a random eyewear repair shop instead. I decided to wait for a sales assistant, but despite waiting for more than 30 minutes, no one approached me. Meanwhile, other customers who entered after me were immediately helped. There were several available staff members, but I was completely ignored.
After half an hour, I finally approached someone myself. I was told again to wait, and later they just said they couldn’t do anything. The only solution offered was to buy a new pair of sunglasses — which, judging by the quality, will probably fall apart again after a couple of days.
The attitude in this store is careless and unprofessional. I strongly suggest management be replaced and the staff trained to treat loyal customers with more respect. This is not the level of service I expect from a brand like Gucci.
In the end, they simply handed me back my broken sunglasses and said, “Well, it’s Gucci,” and maybe — just maybe — they’ll fix them sometime...
Read moreDeception alert. They sold me a pair of damaged shoes which was beautifully wrapped though. The shoe soles turned to be so worn out that the many cracks (!) are very visible.
The Sales Assistant promised a pair of new shoes (instead of the pair on display and I tried on). But when I returned to my Nice hotel and unboxed it, shockingly, the pair looked to have been worn many times.
I told the Assistant earlier that I was leaving France soon; not sure if they thought I wouldn’t have time to return it. When I drove back to the store right before my flight, time crunch was understatement. Luckily I managed to return it.
This is one of my worst shopping experiences. Just when you thought you could trust the seemingly friendly staff, they stabbed you in the back and dumped damaged...
Read moreAlthough the store was busy, the staff were all friendly and attentive and we were offered a seat until a member of staff was available. Quite soon after, a member of staff named Joy came to assist us. She was very patient, helpful and knowledgeable. We were made coffee whilst my wife tried on different jewellery pieces which was appreciated. We are not famous or rich but were still made to feel very special and nothing was too much trouble. This I believe is what Gucci do very well...a fantastic shopping experience. My wife was very happy with her choice of jewellery. Thank you Gucci and thank you...
