I never feel so unpleasant in my shopping experiences.
Firstly, since I need to shop goods for my family and friends so I take one photo for the goods for them to compare which one they like. One guard shuts in my face to stop me. He can be more polite even itâs due to your storeâs policy as I only know later.
Secondly, I couldnât buy all the goods I request because the service lady(she even didnât provide me the name card) and the manager restrict what I can buy. Apparently, itâs based on individual storesâs tolerance amount. I can only buy one item for each categories of items. So for example, my mom and my sister both needs purses, but based on their rule, I can only have one.
Finally, me and my husband come from same household but they ask us to pay separately otherwise we canât have two same categories items....?!
I requested to buy 10 items and at the end I can only buy three of them and cost me two hours for all the work and restrictions. If it isnât my familyâs request, I will not spend this time waiting. They told me the tax refundâs name needs to be equal to credit card ownerâs. However me and my husband are together, and we shared the same family name... I donât see the reasons...? I have shopped in Dior and they say itâs okay for the custom as long as we are in together and share same family name....
Of course I would understand some of your policies is designed to protect every customersâs right, however it might be, the overall attitude and service depress me quite a lot. It definitely affect how I feel about the brand. I have heard Louis Vuitton has a reputation for resting bixch face attitude to clients and thus higher their own sense of brand value by that. Maybe it works for some customers but I will definitely drop my desire for them.
I have seen Louis Vuitton shop shower the champagne for clients before and now I feel I was showered by confusion and disrespect. I will not consider...
Read moreRude, unhelpful and judgemental! I went into this store twice during my visit to Cannes looking for a particular wallet to match my bag. The first time a store assistant looked me up and down, said the closest store to have this model in stock was Nice and the conversation ended there. No alternatives were offered, although I was open to exploring other options. I was more or less turned away, I did my own research online and returned to the store a couple of days later with alternative wallet options. I tried to get someoneâs attention for 10 minutes, the store assistants point blank ignored me until I walked up to a lady myself and showed her what I was after. They refused to let me use my husbandâs passport on a tax refund form if the payment was made on my card. I explained I owe an EU passport, however my residency has been in the UK for the past 15+ years. The lady demanded to see proof of my residency document, which of course, I didnât have with me because why would I take it on holiday?! I showed her a copy of my marriage certificate stating my current UK address and my e-visa on my UK government account, however none of this was acceptable. She then made a judgemental comment âwell canât your husband just pay for itâ, at which point I was totally done with her attitude and lost all the will to buy anything from that store! I walked away empty handed and upset for being spoken to like some âlower...
Read moreMy wife and I visited the Louis Vuitton store on a recent trip to Cannes. We were helped by Severine G. who seemed experienced and knowledgeable. My wife found and purchased the 2 items she was looking for. When it came time for her to pay for the merchandise she was given the choice of paying in euros or dollars. My wife thought to pay in euros, but Severine insisted that dollars were the best way to go. After some discussion my wife said ok, pay in dollars. Outside the store my wife reviewed the receipt and noticed that there was a fee charged by LV's bank ( our bank charges no fees) for the dollar conversion. It raised the final price of the purchase over $100 more than if she would have paid in euros. We went back to LV and spoke to Severine again and she insisted that she was right. We left the store with the transaction the way it was. Later in our trip we stopped at both the Florence, Italy and the Lisbon, Portugal LV stores and the sales associates at both stores agreed with my wife and had no idea why dollars were pushed at the Cannes store. They all sympathized with my wife but because it was another country, nothing could be done. Even at Louis Vuitton,...
