When we arrived at the store with our luggage, the security guard stopped us and said luggage wasn’t allowed inside. Even though both of us planned to shop, he insisted that one person had to stay outside to watch the luggage. He spoke to us with an aggressive tone, saying it wasn’t his responsibility to look after luggage. Excuse me, are you the security guard or am I? What’s the point of you standing there if not to help—just to be a statue? Do the suitcases grow legs and run off that you need to chase after them? We told him that we didn’t mind leaving them outside and were fine with the risk. Still, he refused. When we finally entered , he kept muttering under his breath, refusing to even let the luggage stay near the entrance—not inside the store, just outside. At other Chanel stores we visited later, the staff had no issue letting us bring our luggage in and helped keep it. So is this store following a different training standard from other locations? The Chinese-speaking sales was equally unprofessional. When we asked about the price of a specific ring, she said, “Each one has a different price. It’s written there.” How do you think what you said expresses any meaningful information? We asked you because we wanted the exact price—what’s the point of you standing there if all you offer is that kind of useless response After talking with other customers, we found that being blocked at the entrance and denied entry with luggage is common at this store. This store is also filled with fake reviews likely posted by staff members themselves. Many of the five-star comments read like scripted praise, often posted shortly after negative reviews appear. So clearly, this is how they operate. If you’re planning to visit this location, I suggest you don’t waste your time. There are other stores that actually respect...
Read moreThe previous comment is ridiculously fake. No customer would take the time to describe their shopping experience in chronological order with so many details. After receiving negative feedback, this store’s first response was not to address the issues, but to post fake positive reviews. Smiling service should be the most basic expectation, yet the security guard at the entrance of this Chanel store never smiled — he stood like a statue and was incapable of even watching over two suitcases. Inside, the staff all gave the exact same line that suitcases are not allowed in the store. If you encounter any other problems in this store, I’m sure they will continue to respond in this way. Are the suitcases carrying explosives? If you want to stand outside in the heat, acting as a security guard watching two 20kg suitcases while your companion shops inside, and standing with a guard who blocks you from entering, then welcome to...
Read moreMy husband and I visited the Chanel boutique in Nice during our vacation, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We were warmly welcomed by a sales associate named Luc, who treated us like VIPs from the very beginning.
Luc greeted us with a big smile and offered exceptional customer service throughout our visit. While I was taking my time choosing, he patiently assisted me without any pressure which made the whole experience feel extra special.
What impressed me the most was his thoughtfulness — a few days after my purchase, Luc followed up via text to make sure everything went smoothly with my tax refund and to see if I had any further questions.
This was my first Chanel bag purchase, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Luc, and the Chanel Nice team, for making it so memorable. I’m proud to say that I had the best luxury shopping experience...
