I visited your L’Occitane store at Gare du Nord, Paris, yesterday and purchased a bath oil, a Reset Serum, a snow globe, and a fridge magnet. The store is connected to another shop selling food and souvenirs.
While I was selecting souvenirs, the sales assistant took my L’Occitane items to the till. Once I finished, I handed her the rest of my items, she placed everything into one bag, and I paid. I briefly checked the bag before leaving, and everything appeared to be inside. Since the products were a bit heavy, I had no reason to suspect anything was missing.
However, when I got home and unpacked, I discovered that the Reset Serum box was completely empty — the product itself was not inside. I had the shopping bag with me at all times after leaving the store, so it could not have been stolen afterward. This makes me question whether the box was empty when handed to me.
This was a very disappointing experience, especially as I trusted the staff to ensure I received what I purchased. I don't know why she had to take the products from me at the beginning rather than me taking them to the till myself but I thought she was being helpful. To cheat...
