Ok, so like any other boujee American, I decided I was going to get a LV and I was going to get it IN PARIS! You are welcomed very warmly as you come in, and it's also a very nice and organized store...almost clinical actually. Despite the store being relatively empty, I was not offered assistance which is very odd for an upscale brand. I wandered around and found an item I wanted to purchase. I waited and waited, despite standing there looking apparent I needed an assist. I eventually told a gentleman that I would like to purchase a bag and rather than help me, said someone would be with me shortly. On a side note there were store employees there, that were not salespeople, but stood around and I'm not sure what they are doing. I say this not rudely, but just, honestly don't know. Security? Assistants to salespeople? Stock clerks? After waiting twenty three minutes in an empty store for a salesperson (I was about to leave), a woman came and I showed her what bag I wanted. Now, even though I felt a little off put by the odd wait time, the saleswoman was very wonderful once she arrived. She was efficient and friendly. She packed my bag beautifully and the check out was quick. All in all, it was an odd store experience. That said, you can get a luxury tax refund at the airport and the prices are slightly less than in USA, so you can save a little bit, but maybe if you're worried about funds, don't shop at Louis Vuitton. 😂😂😂😜
EDIT: Bring passport to store to avoid luxury tax if your from the USA. It really will save you a...
Read moreThis is a poorly staffed/ran location, thus resulting in a very poor experience! Waited 20 or so minutes to be assisted, and eventually got tired of waiting and had to search for an SA to help me. Mind you, my partner and I had came to this location about an hour and a half before closing time, and the store was NOT busy whatsoever. I already had the bag I was wanting in mind, so I was not going to be requiring much time to browse and make a decision anyways..
I had told the greeter at the front door the specific bag I was looking for, and he replied he would get someone to help me, but as I stated above, ended up waiting around and ended up flagging someone to assist me.
As we were waiting, I look around and see a few other people waiting to be helped when a group of SAs and security staff are hanging around the front door goofing and joking around with one another? Entire staff on this shift all seemed very inexperienced and unprofessional.
I still ended up making a purchase at this location solely due to it being a present for a family member who wanted this particular bag.
Staff member gave my partner a weird and dirty look when he asked if him & I could wait inside the store until our Uber ride came to pick us up… AFTER I had already purchased something from this store? Unbelievable.
The experience at this location is incredibly inadequate compared to frequenting other designer houses. Would...
Read moreAdam from this Louis Vuitton store was a pleasure to deal with. His English was good enough to communicate to and my partner was after some other options and he gave great recommendations. He also gave us advice on getting our VAT tax refund upon leaving EU (Europe). What really stood out with Adam's customer service was that we had to catch the Metro back home, he pointed us in the right direction and when he was about to farewell us from the store he noticed that it was raining and ran to get us an umbrella to take home with us. The store was good and tidy as expected. Excellent service from this girl who was serving us drinks and food/snacks, she was the first to approach us in store after the initial greeting from the doorman / security gaurd on the metro side entrance (bald head tall male). The only downfall to the store was that we were sitting in the middle of the store for roughly 10 minutes being past by an asian salesperson who did not acknowledge us once. She walked past us maybe 4 times and saw we had been served with food and drinks but didn't seem interested in us as we were not dressed like the usual clientele that walk through the doors, dressed in sandals in the rain. As for Adam he didn't hesitate in asking if we were being served, if LV salespeople are commission based he most definitely deserved our purchase today thank...
