We stayed at this hotel for four nights, from February 20th to 24th. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the disappearance of valuable personal items from our room, an incident for which the hotel bears full responsibility. Upon returning to our room on the third day, we found that a valuable bracelet, a souvenir from the Musée d’Orsay, and an envelope had gone missing. The first two items had been left in plain sight on the bedside table, while the third one on a cabinet. The only people who had access to the room during our absence were the housekeeping staff. We immediately reported the issue to reception. Although they claimed to investigate, they ultimately told us that nothing had been seen or found. We followed up multiple times, but received no help or accountability. A later email also went unanswered. The bracelet in particular had not only significant economic value (it was wort several hubdred euros), but also great sentimental importance, making this experience especially painful. We were not offered any form of compensation—not even a small discount on the stay—apart from two stale croissants. The lack of empathy and responsibility was truly disappointing. We will not be returning, and we strongly advise others to think twice before booking this hotel. There is a clear disregard for guests’ belongings and for basic customer care. A real shame.

Me and my partner stayed at Hotel des Marronniers for 3 nights in August. Check-in was late initially (1.5 hours after the given check-in time) which wasn't ideal; we were keen to get to our room, freshen up, and head out to the city. We were told we had to wait in the reception until our room was ready. However, the staff were incredibly attentive and apologetic. The Superior Double room was relatively small, but this should be expected with traditional style Paris hotels. It was clean and had a great view of the garden courtyard. Throughout our stay the maids were attentive, the reception were very friendly, and 24H access meant we could stay out in the Parisian cafés late. The breakfast isn't included, but I opted to have the continental option in the garden on our final morning. There was slight language barrier problems, but the breakfast was good value for the price and I could fill up on eggs and coffee.

We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel des Marronniers! The location is excellent -- just a short walk from incredible restaurants, and iconic sights like the Musée d'Orsay, Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Latin Quarter, and the Jardin du Luxembourg. We stayed in a Superior Garden Room with breakfast for 5 nights. While the room was a bit small, it didn't bother us at all -- there was plenty of storage, the air conditioning worked well (a huge plus in the summer!), and we weren't in the room much anyway. The bathroom was stocked with Clarins products and had incredible water pressure, which made showers feel luxurious and refreshing. A big thank you to Judith, Jurgen, and the entire team for making our stay so special. Judith gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations, and everyone on the staff was welcoming and attentive. We would definitely stay here again!

Charming little hotel, however we found the staff on the front desk to be extremely dismissive of our concerns. The rooms are so small, even by Paris standards. The bed was right up against one wall, meaning if the inner person needed to get in or out, the outer person had to get out as well to facilitate that! The floor space had barely enough room for both of us to be standing up at the same time, and as the room was in the roofline, the ceiling was sloping, making it feel even smaller. Plus, the idea of calling the room a Garden Room when it was top floor, with windows only in the sloping ceiling, is really stretching a point! The manager has since tried to justify that by saying the room was on the garden side of the hotel! I'm not sure how that justifies the Garden Room price point, given that the only view was of construction work on the building next door! We had previously called the hotel to ask what they considered to be a Double bed, as many countries use that term differently. We were told on the phone that the bed would match that of an American Queen. That was not the case - it was a small full-size bed, totally unsuitable for 2 adults. The bathroom was bigger than the bedroom! When we asked the front desk staff if there was another room they could offer us, he told us they were fully booked all weekend and we should look elsewhere if we didn't like it. He even suggested we try the hotel a few doors down the road! The manager subsequently said that they offered to move us the next day, but that is not what happened. Only after we had found another hotel, at their suggestion, did they say they may have been able to move our room the next day, but no promises. Be very careful when booking this hotel to clarify exactly what room you're getting. All in all, very...

Very comfortable Beds, with new moderne mattresses, of very good quality. The hotel has a very nice patio entrance. Front desk very gentle and multilingual. But all the rest is way too OLD and rooms and breakfast room need a MAJOR RENOVATION. My room was old style, not sound insulated in the door, and neither in the walls. I heard everyone walking and talking on the stairs and all the neighbours' voices and noise. So my stay was not comfortable, because always disturbed by the noise coming from adjacent rooms. Also, the heating is centralized. The thermostat in the room did not work. I tried to mention the problem. One person tried to fix the problem, but the day after everything was not working again. There was only a radiator, but unfortunately it was not adjustable in the temperature (either it was too warm or too cold). The radiator is old and need to be fixed, as the entire conditioning system, in such a way that it can be adjustable from the room both in summer and in winter. The bathroom, unbelievably little and old. The window in the bedroom was also old, and a bit broken because it was impossible to close it properly.

I would expect such old standards in room and bathroom for a 2 star-hotel, and definitely not if I pay 200 euro per night.

Fortunately the mattresses were good quality and front desk nice and gentle, otherwise I would have run away.

Suggestion to the owner: your hotel would be nice, but please notice that the hotel rooms and bathrooms need a total major renovation, and insulation. At the moment, only the mattresses have been renewed but the...
