In the beginning Paris Rental/Anne was kind and professional to me. After a year of having signed a lease with them, they treated me dismissively.
One of their employees Delphine became my assistant briefly. During that time she recommended a cleaner named Yaritza. I paid this cleaner in cash. I gave her hundreds of euros in tips throughout 2022. Then I realized this cleaner was not doing her job properly. I dismissed her.
This cleaner went to Paris Rental to complain about me. I did not know this cleaner worked for the company and that they were all talking about me behind my back. Paris Rental told me I should give the cleaner her payment in an envelope, and they will give it to her. They ignored my side of the story.
I did owe the cleaner payment for 2 visits, but not 5 visits, as the cleaner claimed. This cleaner was angry that I fired her and wanted revenge. I checked all the messages I exchanged with the cleaner. I spent hours writing an email to Paris Rental, and gave evidence to Paris Rental that this cleaner was trying to extort me. They ignored my email.
This cleaner sent insulting messages on Whatsapp to me. I asked Delphine of Paris Rental to reason with her. After 2 months, this was not resolved.
Finally, I asked a local friend to translate for me and talk to this cleaner. The cleaner and her husband came to my apartment to collect the payment. We tried to explain to her why I do not owe her payment for 5 visits as she claims. The cleaner yelled at me and called me a thief. She threatened me and said, "I am stronger than you. I can hurt you."
Thus, I went to the police station to report this incident. I emailed Anne and Delphine again to explain what happened, and again they they ignored my email.
Anne then texted me to complain about this negative review. The fact that I had to go to the police station to resolve this incident without any assistance from them says it all.

Read moreI rented this furnished 1-bedroom near the Eiffel Tower Dec 2024–Aug 2025. The apartment is nicely renovated, but my experience with the owner and the cleaning arrangement was difficult. The owner and his cleaner did not follow the contract. • Rent was €5,500/mo (listed at €4,500; +€1,000 for utilities and 2 hrs weekly cleaning, per contract). • The contract states utilities are included: “Les notes d’électricité sont incluses dans le loyer.” Since I paid €1000 over every month, it definitely covered electricity bill. • Despite utilities being included, after an authorized visit while I was out the owner called to complain about lights being left on and repeatedly stressed electricity cost—this felt micromanaging. I overpaid a lot it sure covers this. • On move-in I discovered a large pre-existing stain on the mattress (documented by photo and reported). I bought a mattress topper to cover it. • Cleaning quality was consistently poor and often ~1 hour instead of the contracted 2 hours. Also the cleaning lady hired by landlord is very greedy, I paid her for the cleaning move out and hold my belongings for 26 days separately, when my friend picked it up, she claim she does not have my hairdryer. • 25 days after move-out the owner raised two tiny food stains on a curtain that were not noted in the check-out inventory. He first said he’d send it for pressing at my expense, I asked for evidence in the inventory reports, then said he might clean it himself. • Deposit was handled with delays/stress (ultimately returned after deductions agreed elsewhere).
The flat looks great, but expect very hands-on, nitpicky management and unreliable cleaning, which for me outweighed the benefits at this price point.

Read moreI have used De Circourt (Paris Rental) to acquire tenants for my apartment in Paris for 15 years. Through their efforts I have had fewer than 6 months vacancy in all of that time. But what most impresses me with their service is the quality of tenant they have acquired for me. Never have I had an issue with any of my tenants removng things or damaging the apartment in any way. Never have my tenants missed a single payment. Some of these tenants have become personal friends. I have even had Paris Rental tenants find me new tenants.
I would also like to mention that I am not your typical landlord. I never rent my apartment for over a year. At the end of each lease, I spend a month at the apartment carrying out any improvements and arranging any required services. That means that every tenant must move out for a month once a year. Most have then renewed their lease at the end of my month. I can not over emphasize the difficult of finding a tenant who is willing to interrupt their residency for a month but Paris Rental has done so time and time again. I would never use any service other than that provided by the De Circourt company. Paris is not my only rental property and I have tried Air B&B and Craigs List.
