My husband and I stopped in on a whim after running through a sudden rainstorm. The shop was cozy, well kept, and very welcoming. We were greeted right away by the kindest young man, Cedric, who patiently answered our questions about sizing and colors. He went out of his way to track down the exact coat in the size I needed, which we really appreciated as the shop was filled to the brim with guests at the time! Cedric was incredibly professional, and his excellent service was ultimately why we decided to make a purchase. At the register, we were assisted by Jules and Juliet, who were equally kind and generous with their knowledge on not only the shop's products, they also enthusiastically shared their recommendations for local restaurants and sights. It would be remiss of me not to also share that this all happened towards the end of the day, when the shop was minutes away from closing. We never felt rushed to leave, nor was their company ever forced. I commend them greatly for keeping such good spirits after what had to have been a long day.
We left very impressed and excited to come back for future shopping. If you're looking for a Barbour jacket, I highly recommend this exact location on Saint Germain.

My boyfriend wanted a certain jacket model but couldnât find the right size or color in our hometown. So we went to the Barbour store during our Paris trip. The salesclerk was really helpful and gave us some tips about the sizes. He was really patient with my indecisive bf and finally my bf bought the jacket.
At the hotel, he tried it on again and realized a size bigger would be better. So the next day we went to the store again to exchange the jacket for the bigger size. This time there was another salesclerk who was happy to help us out. Unfortunately, this time the color of the jacket wasnât available any longer in the right size. So the friendly employee brought all of the other colors for my bf to try. He had deep knowledge about each color and the techniques of the manufacture of the jacket and my bf chose a color of the available ones :)

Please stop making these meaningless excuses. When I walked into your store, all three staff members clearly saw me, yet none of them responded to my greeting. There were no other customers in the store at the time, which made their silence even more obvious. To make matters worse, I even saw one of the male staff members roll his eyes.
As a customer, it is completely normal to feel uncomfortable after being treated with such indifference. Instead of denying the issue, it would be more appropriate to acknowledge the shortcomings in your customer service and consider ways to improve.
