The carriage use to go slower and there was time to take in what you were seeing, especially small children, but it now seems much faster and things are easily missed. It also means that the ride is considerably more jerky than it has been in the past. It helps keep queue times down but is at the expense of the quality of the experience.

Pinocchio is a wonderful ride that is suitable for children and adults alike. This is a great ride for families. Nevertheless, the waiting time for this ride can easily take up to 60 minutes due to its popularity with guests. For any fan of the Disney film, this is a worthwhile ride that any fan will enjoy. A definite recommendation for anyone travelling to Disneyland, Paris.

For context, we (family of 3, dad, mum and 5 year old daughter) visited Disney Land Paris (DLP) for 3 days.

Like the Snow White ride, if whiplash is what you want then come here, lol.

The queues for this place are relatively long, about 30 minutes to an hours wait. This is one of the rides to leave till last if you can as towards the evening the queues get considerably shorter.

Once onboard the cart your launched into a tunnel of sorts with tight bends, turns and harsh braking.

Now i know the Disney Pinocchio story very well and it starts off with the Stromboli scenes, the the donkey part, then Monstro. Towards the very end you see Geppetto making Pinocchio. The ride is disjointed compared to the actual film.

My 5 year old daughter knew nothing about Pinocchio so didn't seem to mind it...

I'm giving it a 3 because the first time we queued for over 35 minutes the ride broke down.

We gave it another go later in the day which still took around 40 minutes maybe more, I have never seen Pinocchio before but from this ride it looks a bit dark and depressing?

The ride went on longer than I thought it would (longer than Peter Pan ride but didn't have all the magical about it)

You go from one scene to another on a cart, glad I did it but wouldn't queue...
