Döner Point — Local services in Berlin

Delicious!

I saw a big queue at lunchtime and figured it was a good sign. I decided to go back for my dinner and boy was I glad I did! Everything was spot on, salads prepared perfectly and fresh, donner prepped infront of us and not pre prepared, spicy sauce was pretty spicy FYI (I like spice and it was perfect). The two gentlemen working had a bit of banter while taking the order. While one was preparing the food the other was cleaning the serving trays in prep for the morning (just a point of note) it's always good to see hygiene being spot on in a takeaway.

I read some negative reviews about the staff not being able to speak English, this wasn't my experience at all. I prepped and had my Google translate out, but the two gentlemen were all over it and even having a friendly joke with me in English.

Good Food but Poor service due to language barrier and lack of patience from the cash register.

One of the workers asked me what sauce I wanted on my food, I asked him what sauces did he have. He raises his voice in frustration asking the same question so I repeated myself. After his confused silent frustration, I told him it doesn't matter, I don't want any sauces.

Then he gave it to me with ketchup 😂

I don't expect anyone to speak English and that's perfectly fine but the gentleman should be respectful to his customers and help understand...

We were SO glad we found this place. It was our first time in Berlin and we were dying to try Döner kebab. This place did not disappoint. The service was quick and friendly and the Döner was excellent! We've had Döner several times since, but this was definitely the best. Please do yourself a favor and stop here for lunch.
