l'amande — Local services in Municipality of Nafplio

Arrived at 830pm on 28 October for ice cream with our three kids and another couple with their two kids. Ice cream was good and the kids were happy. The adults experience was however negative. I appreciate it was likely the end of a long shift for the two members of staff but they were cleaning around us and looked annoyed as we were stood next to the stools with our kids. Closing time was 1030. They got annoyed with two of our group for leaning against the counter after they had sprayed it down. Refused to allow any tasting of the ice cream (which I appreciate is policy in a lot of stores) but they discussed between themselves and then refused. Made our experience of the store negative. Amazing Gelato! Some of the best we tried. The pistachio was incredible, and there were plenty of very interesting flavors to choose from. The millefeuille was amazing and my favorite was the kuneffe because it was sweet, nutty from the pistachio, tart from the cream cheese base, and had a fun texture from the shredded filo. We ended up going twice because it was so good! It's not just a gelato shop, but the gelato was AMAZING. (ps. There is a second gelato counter with more flavors inside, so...

Nous avons utilisé les services de « l’amande » pour nos gâteaux de mariage et pour la location du vélo pour les glaces pour cette soirée. Ma femme et moi avons été ravi de la gentillesse des patrons, des employés et de la qualité de leurs gâteaux et glaces. Nous avions une requête spéciale pour le gâteau de mariage «à la française » avec une pièce montée composée de choux garnis de crème et monté en forme de tour. Ce gâteau était tout nouveau pour le pâtissier et ils ont rendu un gâteau délicieux, tous les invités grecs et français ont adoré. Bravo ! Pour les glaces, nous avons eu le petit vélo en location pour la soirée avec un choix de 6/8 parfums avec une nombre de boules illimitées. Ma femme et moi sommes allés goûter les parfums avant le jour du mariage et c’était difficile de faire un choix comme tout était délicieux. Nos invités (petits et grand) ont adoré les glaces et le vélo ! Pour résumer nous somme ravis et heureux d’avoir eu les services de « L’amande» pour célébrer notre mariage, ils ont contribué à rendre ce jour...
