I had a very disappointing and unpleasant experience at this hotel. The staff is not following a proper system for parcels — they are not considering token numbers at all. My parcel token was B8, and I am also attaching the photo of my bill as proof. You can easily verify this through your CCTV footage on 29 sep at approximately 6:40 PM.
Even though I had token B8, I noticed that people who came after me were getting their food before me. When I questioned this, the manager simply said “your parcel is getting ready” and made me wait for more than half an hour. This clearly shows that the token system is being ignored, and customers are made to suffer unnecessarily.
When I asked for the manager, I was told it was Mr. Manjunath himself. I requested the owner’s contact number, but instead of giving it, he gave me his own number. I tried calling him more than 6 times, but he never received the calls.
To make matters worse, the so-called manager Manjunath used foul and abusive language towards customers. I say are we were eating for free to use recieve slang words. This kind of insulting and unprofessional behavior from a manager is completely unacceptable.
This is not the first time such an incident has happened here. Repeated issues like this show that the management is not taking corrective action. Customers deserve respect, and the parcel/token system should be followed properly without discrimination.
In my honest opinion, Mr. Manjunath is not suitable for the post of manager. His irresponsible behavior, unprofessional conduct, and disrespectful language are damaging the hotel’s reputation. I strongly urge the higher management or ownership to take strict action against him and ensure customers do not face such humiliation and delays...

Dakshin Cafe is one of the hotels that continues the legacy of the Bengaluru Darshinis. Popular for their offerings that comprises of varieties of snack and meals.
My favourite here is Ghee Pongal which is served piping hot and perfect for a monsoon day. Pair it with piping hot strong filter coffee and it will refresh you. Next I like their Masala Dosa which is very different as they don't layer spicy red chutney inside. Absence of spicy red chutney helps in savouring the perfect taste of potato stuffing and ghee. Finally I like their Curd Vada which is tender and full of flavours.
This is a self service outlet and their staff is quick in handling the orders.
