I visited Mayoori Furniture in Vytilla one evening with a friend, and regrettably, the experience did not meet expectations. We spent nearly 30 minutes in the showroom without being acknowledged or approached by any staff. It was disappointing to feel completely overlooked, possibly due to our casual attire—something that should never influence the quality of customer engagement.
We were eventually informed that this was the premium showroom and were directed to their budget outlet located nearby. Unfortunately, the experience at the second location was equally unsatisfactory. Once again, we were not attended to promptly. When a senior salesperson finally approached us, his demeanor was surprisingly unprofessional. At no point did he inquire about our furniture requirements—such as the purpose, dimensions, or preferred models. For someone in a senior position, the lack of basic customer interaction and attentiveness was both unexpected and concerning.
What made this experience particularly disappointing was that I had personally recommended Mayoori Furniture to my friend, based on previous positive experiences. I had purchased furniture for my own home from Mayoori, and my cousin had done the same. Given this background, I had returned with high expectations, but was left feeling embarrassed and disheartened by the treatment we received.
As part of this review, I am also sharing a photo of the salesperson who attended to us, so the management can identify the individual involved and take appropriate action if necessary.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively, with the intent of improving customer service standards. Every customer, regardless of appearance, deserves to be treated with professionalism, respect, and attention. Addressing such issues—especially in how senior staff interact with customers—will help uphold the store’s reputation and foster trust among...
Read moreWe were looking for a Dining table and looking at the YouTube reviews we went to Mayoori Furniture store. We first went to the main store located at service road. The staff said they have only teak wood furniture at the main store and they have normal wood furniture behind the store. We went there and it was a huge store.
We went inside the store and there were lots of Dining table. But again the store staff was saying everything is a teak wood when they are actually not teak. I see this lie with many of the furniture shop in Kochi. Polishing like teak does not make it a teak wood. I know very well about woods.
We saw a simple dining table with mostly of iron reaping and only the top was a compressed wood with mica finish. It was just worth of 15k max. To our suprise the staff was saying 22k for it which is really a blunder fraud. May be he doesn't know the value or trying to cheat. We could get full wood dining table for 25k.
We had to leave the store immediately hearing the huge price. They call this as budget store. I don't understand where is budget friendly here. Useless store. I don't recommend this...
Read moreTotal Scam – Stay Away from Mayoori Furniture, Vytilla This store thrives on false advertising and cheap gimmicks. You’ll see massive newspaper ads and social media posts with flashy “up to 70% off” offers — but it’s all just bait. The moment you walk in, you’ll find that: The advertised products are conveniently “out of stock” Prices are totally different from what’s shown in ads They push you to buy expensive items with no actual discount The whole thing feels like a well-planned bait-and-switch scam Product quality? Extremely poor. The sofa I bought started falling apart within a month. Cheap materials, bad finish, and no durability. Customer service? Non-existent. They won’t answer your calls once the sale is done. Complaints are ignored and they don’t care at all about after-sales support. This place is just about making a sale — no ethics, no responsibility, no values. If you read other reviews here, you’ll see it’s not just me — this is a pattern. There are way better furniture stores in Kochi with honest pricing and better quality. I do not recommend Mayoori...
