If you have read any of my reviews of places around the world, you will know by now that I am fair in my assessment of an establishment.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Reminding me of my time in India šŸ‡®šŸ‡³.

We arrived at just before 7 for a booked table of 7! The confusion began. A table for 2 at 7 was presented! We had to confirm that no, it was a table for 7 at 7. We were seated twenty minutes later, all 7 of us!

The food took over an hour to arrive and when it did... it was someone else's curry! šŸ˜† ( more on this in a bit)

Cold plates! As a matter of fact, I reckon the owner uses the walk-in fridge as a side press! These are the plates for your main course as it will be presented in a curry and side dish later.

Cold restaurant is an understatement! Any colder and the staff would have a case against the owner in the labour courts!

To get to the toilet, one must pass through the... you will never guess...the Chinese takeaway next door! OK, it's all indoors, but I had to do a double take on that one! They couldn't understand when we tried to explain there was no toilet roll. One of the workers I was sure was going to present us with a blue kitchen roll they were brandishing as a toilet roll!

The correct food eventually arrived late ( over an hour) for the 7 guests missing several side orders of rice. Two portions of rice arrived with the 7 mains, so one spoonful each!

This oversight was rectified 10 minutes later, but unfortunately, because the curry main arrived stone cold it was more like some sort of indian or local Kerla take on gazpacho and we had to put it onto the stone cold plates so this just compounds the problem and thus this nearly caused another ice age! I ate it with my spoonful of rice straight away lest it get even colder if that was even possible! It wasn't even a nice flavour curry. The rice was nice, however.

The meat content was a mystery! I couldn't honestly tell you it was supposed to be šŸ” chicken! I have had a fair few different and mystery meats in my time and have eaten in the wild forests of Boreno over a hot coal, and still I couldn't identify the meat! It was most likely chicken as ordered with a plasticity additive!

Again, the staff where more than trying to do the best in a bad situation. Our waiter said it was his first day and couldn't have been a nicer person.

It was a general comedy of errors with a discount applied to the final bill as compensation for the numerous muck ups.

The food and service were a big letdown considering how welcoming the staff were. My guess is the Take Away side of the business takes precedence over the dine-in area, hence the late and cold food, but I'm open to correction. You know maybe a few minor tweaks, and it will be sorted,...

I recently dined at this place that promised an authentic experience, and it exceeded all expectations, both in terms of food and service. We started withĀ Beef Cutlet andĀ Devil's Chicken. TheĀ Beef CutletĀ was crisp on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned to perfection. Each bite was a delightful balance of texture andflavourr. TheĀ Devil’s ChickenĀ lived up to its name, delivering a fiery, spicy kick that lingered pleasantly without being overwhelming. For the main course, we opted forĀ Paalu Kappa with Chicken Roast, and it was an absolute winner. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with rich, spicyflavourss that made each bite incredibly satisfying. The combination of the creamy Kappa and the flavorful chicken made this dish a standout. The Turbo Chicken Mandi was outstanding, with tender, perfectly marinated chicken served atop fragrant, flavorful rice. The combination of spices gave the dish a rich depth that truly stood out. In addition to the food, theĀ service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed. They were quick to respond to requests, and their warmth and professionalism added to the overall experience. Their suggestions for the meal were spot-on.
