I could not be happier with the service I received from this company. They are so good to deal with and full of integrity and decency. The actual jewellery pieces are unique and special and unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere.. The rare quality of the craftsmanship is evident to anyone who has any experience of how jewellery is made. Marina looked after us so well and was such a pleasure to meet.Her warm personality and her in -depth knowledge of the pieces was extremely helpful in choosing a suitable purchase. She was not in any way pushy in her manner but we felt we had her undivided attention and interest whilst we looked at various pieces. If you are a visitor to Kilkenny and have an appreciation of bespoke quality jewellery , then this store is not one to miss. There’s a magical quality about it. We cannot recommend it...

Absolutely love visiting Kilkenny and the shopping highlight is always a visit to Rudolph Heltzel’s shop. Christopher is carrying on his fathers tradition in top notch customer service and his knowledge of jewellery, stone sourcing and creation is second to none.

My husband and I bought our wedding rings from Heltzel’s 15 years ago and every year we bring them in for a complimentary polish and any resizing needs. It’s a great excuse to peruse all the beautiful jewellery on display and occasionally purchase a new piece. The jewellery is always striking and unique - bordering on the verge of fine art.

This shop is an Aladdin's cave of art and beauty. I am very lucky to own two Rudolf Heltzel pieces, a large silver ring and a large silver sunburst pendant (15 and 10 years old).

On my visits to the shop, there was never any pressure to buy and Maeve knowledgeably explained about the stones and metals used and allowed me to try pieces without obligation.

This jewellery does not age and I am always being complimented on it. I was very sorry to hear of the death of Rudolf last year but know that the ethos and craft is being carried...
