"I am absolutely thrilled to share my heartfelt testimonial about MacDonagh Shopping Centre, a place that holds a very special place in my heart. Not only have I had the privilege of enjoying all the wonderful facilities they offer as a shopper, but I also had the incredible opportunity to hold an exhibition here for a couple of weeks. The amount of care and professionalism that MacDonagh Shopping Centre took in hosting my exhibition was truly remarkable. They went above and beyond to ensure that my artwork was displayed with the utmost attention to detail and in a way that captivated the attention of all who passed by. It was a blessing to have this opportunity, and I cannot thank the management and staff enough for their unwavering support and dedication. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with convenience and care. The parking facilities are not only convenient but also come with fantastic offers. Age-friendly times make it accessible for everyone, and the presence of baby changing facilities adds a thoughtful touch for parents. The indoor/outdoor cafes offer a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy delicious lunches, and the play area ensures that children have a wonderful time. One feature that truly sets MacDonagh Shopping Centre apart is the personal shopper service. It's like having your own expert guide through the diverse selection of outlets, from clothing to food, stationery, books, and gift stores. The inclusion of a health food store, pharmacy, and sports shop means that you can find everything you need under one roof. Safety is a top priority with 24-hour security, making you feel secure day and night. The serene and calm ambiance that envelopes the entire space is a testament to the care and dedication of the management and staff. They truly are the custodians of this haven. Moreover, MacDonagh Shopping Centre goes above and beyond with its thoughtful amenities. Free Wi-Fi, photocopying service, phone charging service, borrow a bike lock, a complimentary buggy service, and indoor parking all enhance the shopping experience. The provision of autism-friendly hours on Sundays demonstrates the commitment to inclusivity. The spacious mother and baby toilets, along with a complimentary wheelchair loan service, ensure that everyone's needs are met. For those seeking some relaxation, MacDonagh offers the perfect spot to unwind with a coffee. The free playground area keeps children entertained while you enjoy your time. Plus, the age-friendly space on Wednesdays, with lowered music and ample seating, caters to a diverse audience. I must commend MacDonagh Shopping Centre for its commitment to preserving Irish heritage, particularly the Kilkenny Famine Experience. It's a reminder of our history and a place for remembrance and celebration, ask at reception and they are more then happy to set you up with a visual audio free tour of the once Kilkenny Famine Workhouse, I have to admit, it touched my heart the whole experience and so grateful to have been able to learn more about it. However what also truly stands out is the warm and friendly nature of the people who work tirelessly to make MacDonagh Shopping Centre an exceptional destination. Whether you need assistance, directions, or recommendations, the staff are kind, polite, and always willing to help. Their professionalism and dedication to the smooth running of this entire space and the cleanliness are truly commendable. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend MacDonagh Shopping Centre to everyone. The attention to detail, the range of services, and the caring atmosphere are second to none. So, next time you're in the area, do yourself a favour and visit MacDonagh Shopping Centre. You won't be disappointed; you'll be delighted and grateful for the experience, just as I have been both as a shopper and as an exhibitor." Thank you once again for everything, warm wishes, Christina x

This has to be the star of Kilkenny town. There is a huge open space in it where you can have a cup of coffee from Costa, Starbucks etc. Sit there with a see through glass roof on top, on a good sunny day it’s a pure delight. Houses some good fashion house brands. I really liked clothes of Jack&Jones which I have never seen before. It’s kind of shopping experience you would get in Dublin but less crowded and more easy to move around.

Hi.. I visited your shopping centre today for the first time.. I met amazing staff there, firstly the lady in Claire's was so helpful then another lovely lady in TK Maxx.. My baby and young daughter and I came out of the bathrooms, and asked a lovely staff member how to get to a certain area of the car park, he was so helpful, even offering to carry my shopping for me, he showed me exactly where to go.. I then wanted to pay for parking and the man there, was again both very friendly and helpful.. I have to say a huge thumbs up for all your staff.. I will definitely go back, the next time we visit...

I have to agree with Austin Rock its our heritage being tarnished albeit a lovely centre seriously though you could have put it anywhere but here its like opening a Wallmart on the site of 911its bad taste we have enough shops without defacing a heritage site let's not take away from the many working there all very nice and helpful but my mind was racing with all those people dying in a cruel derading manner not imagining in their wildest dreams that food and coffee would be sold and the stench of death would be long forgotten. Hard core I know but 1845 was a ctitial time in...
