This feels and looks like a jewelry, not a chocolate store. Even too sparkling for my taste. It does not smell like a jewelry, however, it smells like heaven. Here chocolate is expensive. There is a reason for this, and the reason is that their products are outstanding. My whole cupboard now smells of chocolate because of a small piece of gianduia it contains. I lived many years in this city and this was my first visit. It will not be the last, and I feel truly sorry (and silly) for discovering this wonderful shop only now. I am looking forward to trying their "cremino", although I am a bit worried that I will end up eating the whole thing too quickly. Grazie signori, per i vostri straordinari prodotti!!...

Roccati Cioccolati in Bologna was a tremendous find during my vacation. I’m a chocoholic. What a refined local chocolate shop of the high caliber. Surprise! Roccati boutique is a family business with bonbons, truffles and other chocolates made in the shop kitchen. I personally selected a variety of bonbon flavors for a 25 piece box. Honestly, the liquor filled chocolates are the best! One piece and that’s a great treat. Another time the small box I bought had a lovely picture design on the top. One of the best chocolates I have ever tasted! The place is charming and you could see them making the magical delicacies behind a glass next to the counter :) Not to mention the incredible smell that fills the space once you enter the shop. There are so many types of chocolates that it's hard to chose, but I don't think you could go wrong with anything...
