A lot has changed in a year!
I’m not a regular customer but as ive lived here for so long to visit 4-5 times a year in each shake cafe to try out different types of beverages and fruit bowls
As i say the quality of the food is still high i’m very satisfied with what they give but
The quality of service and working conditions are horrible. I know this place need to be managed to take almost 50-80 every 2 hours but this management system sucked so hard that one person responsible has to say where they should be seated and if they perhaps prefer to sit somewhere else they deny and refuse to give u a spot
And the waiting line for that is long ! if u have whole afternoon cleared up to go there then it’s a place u patiently stay and wait for
if it is not just go grab something to eat and drink for to go
and another thing i noticed is that when there are customers in front of the line to order something please let them know u will be there to serve them in 30 seconds or something, the workers were all ignoring the client and we had no words to say, they do it when they are obliged to take some orders and they were definitely burned out from talking to us. Mentally they’re not in a good space they are not serving us that well - they’re trying to survive being there at work ; i would say
hire more workers to balance out the lounge management and amenities on the front line put someone that actually smiles and notice cues and social signs to communicate and effectively manage people because it seemed like we had to be patient in order for them to get ready to do our order. it’s we who need to be ready to order and they should be the one waiting- am i right ? for the seating arrangement it’s not a one person job, it’s better to have another person in line to make the needs met (again u are serving people not playing dinner dash game) and if u can’t do it, don’t do this stupid stuff i know it’s needed for a balance but people themselves could find their own way u just have to give them the right direction...
Read moreThis is my favorite brunch and coworking place in Florence! I'm leaving Florence soon and I'll definitely miss this place.
They have such an extensive and innovative menu of food and drinks. A few of my favorite dishes are the farm omelette, the protein omelette (which has chickpeas), and the spicy kimchi grilled cheese sandwich. My current favorite drinks are their chocolate almond butter berry smoothie (their almond butter is homemade and you can really taste the difference), their take on the mango lassi (it's different from the traditional Indian drink, but it's still really good and I'd recommend it), the tropicale smoothie, and the iced dirty chai. The hybrid concept of the place — self-service in the morning and late afternoon and table service during brunch hours — can be quite confusing to new customers (including me, at least the first time I went there for brunch), especially when you see a long line by the entrance, so I'd recommend making this clear to everyone as soon as they enter. But once you know about it the place feels like home immediately. There are lots of tables where you can get your work done while waiting for your order. The place itself, which is surprisingly huge (it's not obvious from the outside), is well-designed and always clean. It gets really busy during lunch though so I'd recommend going just before or after the peak hours if you want to avoid the crowd.
Anyway, I want to give a special shoutout to Cristina, who is the sweetest and who always makes sure I am comfortable, and Nicco, who is always...
Read moreAt first, the staff seemed friendly when they brought us to our table. But once the food was served, it felt like we were completely ignored. The lady who brought our food walked away just as I turned to ask her something—she clearly heard me but pretended not to. For the rest of the meal, the staff avoided eye contact and acted like we didn’t exist, despite clearly seeing us. I had to get up to the counter just to request for a hot sauce after trying failing to get their basic attention multiple times.
At one point, I raised my hand to request for top up of hot sauce and locked eyes with a waiter standing idly at the counter, chatting with coworkers. He saw me and deliberately turned away. I kept my hand raised and held eye contact until he finally signaled our server. Even then, the attitude I got was cold and unwelcoming—like I was an inconvenience for simply asking for service.
It's worth mentioning: most people don't take time to write reviews unless they’ve had a really bad experience. Good service often goes unmentioned. Many of the positive reviews you see are likely not from genuine customers but rather staff or people affiliated with the business trying to boost ratings. So when you see reviews like this, they’re not written out of spite—they're warnings worth paying attention to.
The three staff members working on 22/03/2025 at 11:04 AM gave off a snobbish, entitled vibe and made the whole experience unpleasant. Definitely not a place I’d return to...
