The bookstore itself was nice. However, I felt very unwelcome with my family. It's a small shop, and my kids were looking at books and the woman made comments about them touching things, or setting books on the ground to read, or sitting down on the floor to read while other people were looking for books. If you don't have kids with you, you'll probably have a nicer experience, but I did not enjoy mine.

A very cozy, tiny bookshop! The book I bought there is so much more special. There is a maximum number of 4 people allowed in the store at the time due to Covid-19 restrictions, and the nice lady working at the bookshop makes sure that everyone respects this rule. Highly recommend it!

The bookstore itself was nice. However, I felt very unwelcome with my family. Wonderful! Small but delightful shop packed full of good books (including many second-hand) in English. Not only paperbacks but also wonderful (and still very affordable) bound editions of many classics. Prices obviously higher than if you buy on Amazon but I am glad to pay more to keep this kind of shop in our lovely streets. Also lots of good stuff if you like Miyazaki (the owner obviously does!). The lady who manages the bookshop seems like an...

What a wonderful little oasis in the charming town of Lucca. The shop immediately makes you feel cozy and at home and the owner is super lovely to chat to. My husband and I walked by the shop Sunday morning and stayed until 4pm for it to open because we were so drawn to it, and I’m so happy we did!
