I’ve been to a number of LV locations around the world before and never have I witnessed such “interesting” customer service behavior.
When I first entered, we were told to wait for an associate to help us. We ended up waiting 25 minutes before receiving any assistance. People who came in after us were receiving help. We realized a pattern. We were the only people of color in this store.
The security guard finally gestured to an idle associate to help us after she stood blankly staring into space and fidgeting as if she was withdrawing from nicotine and caffeine.
The associate, a young Italian woman with wonderfully designed tattoos, sadly did not exhibit wonderful service. She was impatient and gave the absolute minimum effort. I’ve had better customer service experiences by fentanyl addicted fiends working behind the counter of a run down gas station in the middle of an ungentrified neighborhood at 1am in the morning.
This associate was rude, dismissive and we can clearly see that she did not want to help us at all. She would just plop open a cabinet haphazardly and mumble “we have this,” and try to rush us out. Read moreThe absolute worst customer service. My husband and I were in search of a new wallet and drove here from Catania just to see a select few wallets in person and possibly make a purchase. We came to Louis Vuitton first and looked at a few, but they didn’t have the ones we were especially interested in (no Damier Ebene?). So we went to check out the ones he liked at Gucci and found one. The customer service there was impeccable which is to be expected. Well, we realized we forgot to check if the Epi leather wallet was available at Louis so we returned. The rude sales associates ignored us for nearly 30 minutes even making eye contact and helping people who came in after us. Then finally one of the doormen pointed us out to the man who previously helped us who reluctantly came over and showed us the wallet. Needless to say, we purchased the Gucci. We live in Las Vegas and cannot imagine this low level of customer service at any of the high-end...
Read moreI have been waiting two years since I promised my wife a Louis bag. We could’ve purchased one sooner in the states, but I wanted it to come from a unique destination while we are on vacation. We walked in with every intention to make a purchase. We were not exceptionally well dressed and clearly were Americans and they ignored us for a solid 15 minutes. Knowing that we are heading to Rome next, we left, so I guess we will buy one on via Condotti. Do they work on commission? Big mistake…..Julia Roberts
