I came here with my best friend during our holiday in Palermo, and we really wanted to find a rooftop bar that wasn’t just the usual touristy spot, but something a little more special. After some searching, we finally FOUND IT – and from the very first moment, we knew we had made the right choice.
As soon as we walked in, we were instantly captivated by the atmosphere: the modern yet cozy design, the soft table lights, and of course, the city lights sparkling all around us. It all came together to create such a magical setting that set the perfect tone for our evening.
The drink selection is wide and varied, and every cocktail is prepared with such care and attention to detail. We were seated close to the bar, so we could watch the bartenders at work – and it was clear how much passion and skill goes into each drink. The cocktails were not only beautifully presented but also incredibly well-balanced in taste. You can tell quality and experience are a top priority here.
The staff were another highlight of the evening: everyone was smiling, kind, attentive, and most importantly, truly professional. We both have very different tastes when it comes to drinks, yet each of us was served a cocktail that suited us perfectly. That, to me, shows just how well they know their craft.
A small but very thoughtful touch was that they remembered my name from the table reservation and used it when welcoming us. It may seem like a little detail, but it made the whole experience feel so much more personal and special.
Overall, the whole evening was simply unforgettable: stunning views, outstanding drinks, and friendly, professional service. I would honestly come back here any night without hesitation. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Palermo who’s looking for a truly special rooftop bar experience.
Thank you for giving us such a fantastic night – we had the perfect girls’ evening here!...
Read moreFor to start , I m very surprise of all the positifs reviews that i did read in this page, witch was the reason why I did decide to go to that restaurant for a birthday night . The price is relatively expensive witch I don’t mind if the food is appropriate and the service is good . Already I was disappointed by the menu witch was absolutely not the one we are seeing online or in this page . After a difficulty to choice , we did decide to take the tagliatelle sea food around 28 euro like the picture above . I m not a difficult person usually when I go out, and eat quite everything . But this was the worst meal I did order in all my restaurant experience . Unfortunately I had to call the waiter if it was possible to change , who I will admet the staff was very nice and changed me the plate straight a way . After that we did decide to give a second chance and order an other meal . That one is called something like an organic pig with spaghetti . In reality it was just a bolognese without any sauce . It was just the white meat on top of the spaghetti , witch was also impossible to eat . Then of course we didn’t took the risk to take the dessert and just left very disappointed , and in memory that was the worst experience we had in the...
Read moreIf you are staying at Hotel Politeama, avoid eating food at the rooftop bar at all cost. The hotel will offer you a complementary drink at the bar, but make sure not to actually dine there if you are looking for an authentic dining experience. We ordered a 20 euro shrimp plate and were served a total of two small fried shrimp. Felt like a huge ripoff. Further we ordered the pasta alla norma and were served two raviolis. Having eaten authentic pasta alla Norma in Catania, this was not what we were expecting. We had asked the waiter about serving size, and he had said it was 100g of pasta, so we were surprised when it was only two raviolis. The biggest kicker is we’re charged a 6 euro cover charge. Felt unfair considering we were offered a free drink to come up to the rooftop bar. Overall was the worst dining experience I have had across several Italy trips, and we had to go to a pizza restaurant afterwards as we were extremely unsatisfied. Avoid this tourist trap at all costs. We paid our 85 Euro bill for one glass of wine, two small shrimp and two small ravioli style pasta and...
