We are looking forward to visiting this store and the owner again, hopefully soon. We were there in August 2019 and had an interesting experience. My wife started to walk into the store with a cone of gelato, and the proprietor promptly said "no ice cream". So, my wife said ok, went outside again to finish a bit more before discarding it. Then, she walked back into the store and said to the lady "no ice cream". Stopped in Pisa on the way back to Bologna. Bought nice postcards and asked for stamps for Europe, which the nice lady sold me. Went back to Bologna, thinking I could post my postcards here using said stamps. But somehow the stamps I was sold can only be posted in orange post boxes of which there is one in the whole of Emiglia Romagna, and no, it’s not in Bologna!
