Koko Mosaico — Local services in Ravenna

In February 2018 I have visited the Koko Mosaico and stayed for one week to join the course of modern Mosaic. It was one of my best courses ever !!! Arianna and Luca are wonderful teachers, they have an incredible knowledge about everything concerning mosaic Art. Every day I felt very welcome and they had so much patience with us. Arianna takes her time to explain everything we want to know and she is always ready to help and give us a hand. During the classes, we were a part of their work, we could see how they work and live. I am still impressed about the kindness and the warmth of the whole team from Koko Mosaico. I felt in love with Koko Mosaico from the first moment I stepped into their studio...it was ma place ! Highly recommend for all who loves mosaic...

Fabulous little mosaic studio on the way to Parrocchia Santa Maria in Porto that you definitely have to stop by. Run by a husband and wife team, the studio also offers art classes and workshops for both adults and children. Check out the on-going apartment window project that Luca Barberini is doing; his work is whimsical, funny and brilliant. Some of the works are also absolutely affordable, and makes a terrific souvenir for your trip to Ravenna when compared to the mass produced replicas available...

Such a wonderful way to integrate all that we'd seen on the ceilings and walls of Ravenna! Absolutely joyful experience for a family of a seven and twelve year old --the four of us working together on a puzzle and thinking deeply about an important art form. This place is very flexible and has space for a three hour family class, which was a tremendous experience. And now we have a beautiful memory and a beautiful replica of a Tunisian duck to take home after our travels! Thank you...
