In A Nutshell: -We stumbled upon this local alimentari (grocery) & so glad we did. -This is where the Italians shop for fresh meats, olive oils and liquor/beer/soda. -Prices are very good. We paid 15€ for 50 grams each of salami, bresaola, prosciutto & a can of olive oli w/ black truffle. -The alimentari was very clean, organized w/ lots of items to satisfy your grocery shopping needs. Overall, glad I added this place to Yelp, so you guys can find it!

It is smack dab in the middle of a touristy area (near Piazza Navona). I had no plans to buy any souvenirs since we have visited Italy several times. But on my last day, I really wanted to get some delicacies that I can enjoy at home. Since we are backpacking home, I picked up a truffle cream and pistachio cream sauce and a Rosso to enjoy this evening. Products all seem to be of really good quality!

This is such a cute little grocery store! It's tucked away in the neighborhood we are staying in--we almost missed it! It seems to have a pretty wide variety of boutique and artisan products to choose from, along with a deli counter and produce area. It would be a great place to buy food/beverage souvenirs for family and friends back home.

Gave the cashier a 50euro bill for 2 large water bottles and a pack of bananas. He gave me a bunch of coins back which I did not count and just put away. The next day, I counted my change and noticed I only have 9euros worth of coins! I know that those 3 items did not cost 41euros! My mistake is that I did not count my change in front of him, but I also trusted him to give me the correct change! Tourists beware! If management wants to know who it is: it was the cashier working on Monday...
