Massimo is an amazing artisan goldsmith. The jewellery is inspired by ancient Roman, Etruscan and greek artifacts. Some pieces are even made using fragments of genuine artifacts. Everything is 21karat Italian gold. We sat with his wife as she showed us the jewellery and referenced their books that gave us the story and history behind each piece. The whole experience was so wonderful I just could not leave Rome without taking a special piece with me. I purchased a gold Roman style ring with a cabochon cut Ruby and my husband got a greek cold coin bezel set into a silver signet ring. We will be ordering a matching pendant as well. Thank you for a wondering experience Maria!

He is an amazing gold smith and his pieces are so beautiful, if you're in Rome you have to step into his shop as it is from an other era and unlike no other. The whole team and family were so easy to communicate to when I lost my ring one night in the USA and they were able to replace it and make me a new one with the exact measurements and everything. This was all done via long distance from the USA to Italy. Best men jewelry around that one cannot...

Sr. Melis crafted a replacement for a lost earring I bought from him years ago. His workshop did a lovely replica using photos and measurements - it was all handled long distance via internet. The replacement matches the original, and I am very pleased. ...
