I never right negative comments for restaurants but this one was something else . We arrived in Rome around 12 o’clock in the morning and we had a brunch in a perfect place around 2 . I asked some of my local friends where I can have a traditional Roman dinner with my wife and they recommended this place , so I called the concierge in my 5 star hotel and ask her to book me a table in this place . My reservation was at 19:30 , and we arrived at that time , the restaurant was closed and some waiters were smoking on the street , after 5 minutes they open , we tell them the name of the reservation but suddenly nobody speaks English , a hostess comes to us and she finally gives us a table . She was very polite and professional but the rest of the stuff was a circus . We ordered by using Google translate around 8 o’clock and we were the first clients that ordered just two pastas and one salad , after around 25 minutes they brought us some starters that we never order with meat ( we told them we are vegetarians ) and some without but we were too hungry and the veggie starters were fine at this moment the place is getting busy and we see the waiters bringing plates to the other costumers that they were local romans but came around 30-40 minutes after we did . Around an hour later I asked the waitress ( by using Google translate ) why they don’t bring us our dishes . She said she will deliver in a bit . After 20 minutes all the restaurant were eating but we still expected our pastas 😅 , I asked the waitress again she told me that the waiter and the manager don’t like tourists and they changed the order … My wife was telling me to leave this place and I told her that if they bring another plate to the other costumers we will go , the hostess was asking to the waiters about us not being treated well , and they were laughing like it was funny ( the hostess is fine ) after 5 minutes they bring a main course to another costumer that ordered before like 20 minutes and we still don’t eat our pasta , we stand up d , I asked the hostess what do we have to pay , she said nothing but the manager made us pay 10 euros …. After that he told us in Italian ( go f* your selfs ) very common word . I don’t have any opinion for the food cause I tried only some bins and something like scrambled eggs with Roman sauce , but seriously if you are not local DONT go to this place !!! The experience was a nightmare they totally destroyed our night in one of the most beautiful areas in the world (...

We selected this restaurant on a Sunday evening, as it was close to our flat and other establishments had closed for the night. The hostess/waitress laid out the menu as an all-you-can-eat that included wine, water, an antipasti course as well as three different types of pasta. This sounded quite agreeable for a flat fee per person.
What she failed to explain was that all the pasta would be brought out at the same time, preventing us holding off once we reached our fill. As a result, we had copious amounts of pasta left over. While this in itself is not a problem, the issue arose when we were advised that none of the leftover pasta could be taken away, resulting in a great deal of waste.
Since the cost of everything the hostess laid out would be covered by the per person fee, it seems like a customer setup to prevent them from leaving with leftovers. That was not explained before the meal began, nor did we request additional pasta and then request takeaway.
This is a real shame, as the food was above average, particularly for the...

Food: The food was great and delicious—simple, tasty, and served in large portions. Honestly, I was full and happy. :) Service: The waiter brought out each dish while sharing the story behind it. He was always quick to refill our water and made us feel like top guests. We arrived just before closing, but instead of turning us away, they provided us with an amazing experience. Price/Quality/Location: For 55 EUR, we tasted 5 different entrées, 4 different pastas, had unlimited water and wine, plus enjoyed homemade tiramisu, coffee, and 2 shots of melonchello (yes, exactly that one).
Overall, I highly recommend this place if you want to taste authentic Roman cuisine without paying a fortune for lunch or dinner in a fancy osteria. This is not fine dining—if you’re looking for an Eat, Pray, Love experience with a single plate of pasta for 25 EUR, go elsewhere. Here, you can enjoy delicious food and spend quality time. An additional highlight: the restaurant was full...
