We stayed at this lovely cottage in end November and in fact this was the best stay we had in our entire trip in Japan. The cottage is very clean and very well maintained, it comes with a full kitchenette, BBQ pit. All the utensils looked very new to me. Microwave, fridge, oven, kettles, etc. are all very new and good working conditions. I can tell that the owner is all the way out to please the customers with all the little gritty details. The WIFI signal is strong in both lower and upper levels. Superb!||||At first we were a bit disappointed that our cottage was behind 2 bigger cottages that partly block our view of Mt Fuji. However, the view of Mt Fuji together with the 2 cottages in front do add some flavour to the scene. The cottage is not that far from the Lake Kawaguchiko as we thought it will be, about 8 to 10 mins if your take the straight cut to the lake.||||The owner Ms Miki is such a wonderful friendly host. She offered to pick up and at Kawaguchiko station on the day we checked in and sent us back to the station the next morning after we checked out. I will highly recommend those who wish to explore Mt Fuji at Lake Kawaguchiko to stay at this lovely place. If you have a big group, you will get to stay at the bigger cottage with a full view of Mt Fuji right at...
Read moreWe stayed for one night in this cozy house. We were 5 people and at first we were planning to do a barbecue while watching the breathtaking view of the Fujisan. Unfortunately the weather was against us, since it rained all day and the clouds covered the famous mount but... We have such a good time! The father of Mikiko san, came to pick us up at the station and carried us to the supermarket. The house is beautiful. Completely wooden, cozy and stocked with everything. Warm. With a nice bathroom and a beautiful view, though we only saw the rice paddies ( but with the good weather the local star is quite visible). The house was spotless. Since it was raining and we were quite tired from the trip, we just stay at home eating, watching tv and playing with games that can be picked up at the front desk. Me and a friend were tempted to challenge the rain to see the surroundings, and the staff also lent us some umbrellas. The surroundings consisted of many rice fields and mountains. Really a relaxing landscape.||I hope we can come back next time, with the sun! For...
Read moreStayed one night. Unluckily, the day following is raining, Mt. Fuji only appeared very short time in the very early morning and covered by cloud all the day. By the way, if the weather is fine, I think you can look very clearly the mountain and have an excellent view. We couple stayed at a 2 storey house. When entering house, I and my wife have excellent impression. It's very tidy, Japanese styled, well-equipped and comfortable. We drove there and brought food for cooking in the house, utensil for cooking are all ready. 1st floor is open kitchen and dining room, 2nd floor is sleeping floor and bathing. i think 4 people can be fitted, we two only occupied half sleeping space. The host is very helpful and friendly. I love their well-prepared info sheet introducing everything surrounding, e.g. sightseeing point, bus schedule, dining places, supermarket location, onsen, etc.... very considerate. I highly recommend this guesthouse to those enjoy Japanese style house while the price is...
