Service: it’s really jap hospitality (omotenashi). Staffs cannot speak English that well. Well, google translate will get you through :-)
Location: surrounded by nature and attractions: museums, cafe and the lake, maple corridor, beautiful shrines ... with incredible view of Mt. Fuji from your balcony.
Transportation: to get in and out, you will need to rent a vehicle unless you really love to walk. You can also contact the cabin to pick you up at the train station free of charge (ask Tourist Center to call them for you)
House: can easily accommodate up to 12 people (may exceed house capacity though). Amazingly new and highly maintained. Nice bathroom and bedrooms. If you are travelling with wheelchair, it’s a bit difficult to climb up the steep stair way.
Food & Beverage: sorry no service, no complimentary bottles of water, no convenient stores in walkable range either. But they partnered with local restaurants to deliver food (tonkatsu, don, chabu-like menus). But the house is so nice, we don’t mind...

This was a very clean, quiet, and spacious place that felt wonderfully cozy for our family. Everything we needed was available, including reliable Wi-Fi access. The great view of Mount Fuji (Fuji-san) was breathtaking!
What truly set this place apart was the exceptional hospitality—the hosts are very friendly people who generously provided us with free transfers to and from Kawaguchiko Station and the supermarket. This made getting around incredibly convenient!

Read moreThis place was in a magical location and had a stunning view when you woke early in the morning to the crisp air and looking out your window, you could see the sunset over mount Fuji. Incredible.
The rooms were super good and because there wasn't a lot of other guests, we practically had the common area all to yourselves.
The host and employees were super nice and helpful with everything. They even took us to the busstation in Kawaguchiko for free! I can't say enough good things about these amazing and kind people that run this...
