Enoshima Hot Spring — Local services in Fujisawa

Unbelievable bad experience . I have a little tattoo on my chest and I was told to leave. I’ve been in japan for 20 years. Im Canadian. A permanent resident. Have 2 English schools with 800 wonderful Japanese students that I do nothing but good things for Japanese children. Then I get kicked out because I have a tattoo of a cartoon character with an ice hockey stick in his hand . I’m very disappointed in the way they handled the situation and I am hoping japan can accept foreign people and learn to bend rules and read a situation. Soooo...

A favourite. Fun place, not really an onsen in the traditional sense, but a pool with onsen available. As such, a great place to take some friends even just for a swim and to enjoy the view. Never especially busy, and a nice thing to do on a day out to Enoshima. Not tattoo friendly as with most such places.
