Arashiyama Station of the Hankyu line may not be the closest stop to Arashiyama, but the short walk to the main attractions is undeniably worth it. Arashiyama Station (嵐山駅 Arashiyama-eki) is a railway station in Kyoto, Japan. It is the terminal station of the Hankyu Arashiyama Line. The station is a short walk from Nakanoshima Park and Togetsukyo Bridge. In spring, sakura trees lining the station light up in an array of white and pink.

This station might not as crowded as the Randen and Torokko ones but it's pretty. Only Hankyu Line going to Katsura Station (last stop) goes in and out. This station gives warm atmosphere with enchanting lamps along the track. The station master was being so helpful when I asked for directions.
