I didn't even want to give 1 star at all for their service. For tourists who decided to go to this store to buy things, it's not recommended to do so! The staff here, especially "level 4 staffs," were all reluctant, unfriendly, and not welcoming to serve foreigners. When we are there to ask to try the luxury goods, they are not very responsive. They just hide behind the counter, and we still have to find them to ask whether we can try the goods. While we are trying their goods their staff were looking on their mobile phone and gave us a feelings that they are not willing to serve us. Before purchasing their luxury goods, we checked with their staff is there any promotion going on but they said NO, After we purchased the luxury goods, we realised that on their website there is further discount promotion coupon specially for tourist that we can use at payment in store when you spend more than certain amount but their staff just kept quiet and didn't share this with us 😕.. or they don't even know their own store promotions. This is how they treat foreign tourist, this shows that the level of hospitality in japan is not as advertised, reality is but a stark contrast to what was marketed to us before we visit the country. Nowadays it is a rare find to receive decent and respectful service by japanese, most experience so far, were unhospitable and below average expectations, especially this store, it's highly not recommended to buy from...
Read moreRelatively well organised store with lots of products to offer, happy with the selection of products.
However....I understand that it's a very busy store with a lot of tourists waiting for the tax free counters, but some of the cashiers are taking the piss when packing the products into the sealed tax-free bags. I don't know why they think it's acceptable to pack all of my products into one single bag!!! Do they think I have super strength? How am I supposed to take it back to the hotel, let alone fit it in my suitcase? The cashier should have known that she overpacked the bag when she had to tape over the original bag holder to seal the bag up with tape!
I saw other cashiers pack the items in multiple bags for other customers - when confronted with this, they just said no sorry only one bag!! What's up with this discrepancy? Please fix this! What would have been a great shopping trip, left me with a sour taste...

You name it, they've got it – snacks, souvenirs, gadgets, toys, you name it. Oh, and don't even get me started on their fancy fashion and top-shelf booze selection – it's legit!
But here's the thing – it's huge, and it's always buzzing with people. So, brace yourself for some cart dodging and crowd surfing, but trust me, it's all part of the adventure.
Long story short? Don Quijote is a must-hit spot for anyone itching to score some awesome finds and killer deals while in Japan. You'll walk out of there feeling like a champ, with bags full of goodies and a smile plastered...
