Had an amazing time at this karaoke bar in a private room for two, though it could have easily fit four to five people comfortably. We knew we wanted to experience karaoke in Japan during our travels, but finding a place that could answer our questions in English was a challenge. Luckily, a kind promoter outside the establishment helped us out. She confirmed that they had English songs, explained the unlimited drink packages, and walked us through the food offerings. She even assisted with check-in at the front desk, helping to interpret for us.
Once we got settled into our private room, we were immediately impressed by the cleanliness and quality of the equipment. The sound system was fantastic, and the song selection was extensive. While some of the most current songs were missing, we still had plenty to choose from. One standout feature was the ability to adjust the original key of the song to better match our voices. This was a game-changer, making even my amateur singing feel more confident and enjoyable.
We were having so much fun that we kept extending our time, and eventually, the front desk just booked us for the "free time" package, allowing us to stay until 4:00 AM. However, they only charged us up until our actual checkout time, which was around midnight. We were pleasantly surprised when we settled our bill—it came out to about $70 USD total. This included the premium unlimited drink menu, some small bites we ordered à la carte, and about four to five hours of karaoke. Service was quick and efficient, and the entire experience was a blast.

Read moreWe reserved a room 1 week out and had 8 people. We got a nice room and after about an hour they came in during a song and told us that we have to move to another room because a larger group was coming and they needed the room we were in. We were shuffled into another room that barely fit us (we were 10 by that point).
The manager came (we had many Japanese with us)in and explained that she heard, upon check in, that the employee who told us that this would happen was correct as she overheard the whole conversation. They were incredibly rude and as many Japanese people are saying in their reviews it means absolutely nothing if you have a reservation.
I cannot say that they charged us higher than they told us (as many reviews are stating) however I have heard in conversation that it does tend to happen.
Just go to a smaller place that treats everyone decently, don't give your place...
Read moreStaff were not helpful. Can speak conversational Japanese and have had no problems anywhere else in Japan. Repeatedly told the staff I did not understand who spoke quickly and did not explain what package we had. Spent 20 minutes of the hour with a remote provided trying to pick the songs to find a tablet in the corner of the room was what we needed instead. Asked a staff member who ranted and left with no result. Ordered a drink and found it was not included (apparently) in the package. Had about half hour in the karaoke room by the time we (by ourselves) worked everything out. Would not recommend to any non-Japanese speakers and extremely disappointed as was hoping to show my parents visiting what Japanese karaoke...
