my grandpa used to work as a Shinto priest here. This year I went back to visit, found and purchased exactly the same omamori amulet he gifted me 27 years ago!!

For me this shrine has special place in my heart. The shrine has holy camphor tree that’s over 900 year old , and amulets from here contains the camphor seed from the holy tree. Said to heal abdominal sickness and illness, or help heal any other sickness general by keeping the amulet close to you all the time.

This shrine is also known as patron/guardian gods for actors and actresses, and for all those into performing arts.

Yatagarasu (3 legged crow) 🐦‍⬛ is the symbol of the shrine. Known to guide you through tough journeys and protect you from losing your way till you safely reach your goals and destinations in life.

I just love...

This was described in Japanese on the notice board by the entrance, and I thought it was...

Dont forget to walk to the back as there are a series of artworks up the steps which have been...
