Very traditional accommodation. Good location. Easy to Access they allowed us early storage of our luggage which was convenient. Thank you for the free champagne. Large sized rooms suitable for 4 people. Lovely bath area however on our first night we had issues with the hot water & the last person to use the bathroom had no hot water available and had to shower in cold water. Other than this I would have rated it 5 stars. We did find the downstairs living area a little small for 4 tall people.

Great location! The host was very responsive and we were able to drop our luggage off early as we explored Kyoto until our check in time. The place was quite cozy and felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend if you want to explore Kyoto like a local.

The house is amazingly beautiful..Our kids loved it too..Very close to Gion (we just walked going there) and few steps away from 711 and train station. The house is very clean and provided all our necessities.

Very nice ryokan tastefully decorated with ample amenities provided for a comfortable stay. Stairs are a little steep for those with children, just be careful with kids. Walking distance to Nishiki market, Shijo dori street and train station. Recommended to anyone who wish to have a...
