Matsubarabashi Park — Attraction in Kyoto

My toddler son has had trouble finding playgrounds that are safe for his age and stage of development in Kyoto. This one has a slide with a guard railing at the top which is both talk enough and has upright posts that are closely spaced enough that he cannot fall to his doom. As a result, he has enjoyed this park's playground immensely.

The swings, climbing structure, and seesaw are still beyond his developmental level. The half-sunken tires offer him opportunity for open ended play.

There is a pergola that provides shade...

I was visit this area for many years on my way and had take a break for some mins here. I like it. Also it's very close to the next old small streets in Gion where I had enjoy to see a group...

A nice park. There's a bench in the shade of a tree. The rest of the park is unshaded so it might be a shorter playground time...
