Cash only* Was looking for a late night meal and found this place through great Google reviews. It was a slow Monday night, and the shop was empty. It felt a little awkward in the beginning, but was due to a language barrier. The owner greeted me in Japanese, and gave me the English menu which you scan using QR code. I got the cheesy curry udon and small portion tonkatsu. It was pretty good. After the meal he thanked me for eating at his restaurant. With the small amount of Japanese I still remembered from high school and anime we had a very friendly conversation. Ryuuto is 60 years old, I couldn’t believe it! Place was well decorated with rock and roll theme and some of his adventures.

Loved the small place too and all the music memorabilia. I can tell the owner really loves rock n roll. Would come back again next time we’re in town!!

Was craving curry udon near our hotel. This came up and so glad it did. The best curry udon I’ve ever had. My husband has the Niku udon and that was also delicious! We went to all other recommended places nearby, but they had closed early. Ended up at this restaurant by chance. This shop is a 3rd generation udon restaurant from 1955! The owner was very friendly and welcoming.

We ordered beef udon and tofu. The soup was nice and mild, and we finished everything, even the soup 😮😋
