Very charming little restaurant! The inside is small so you have to wait your turn to enter but it is SO worth it! I ended up getting the daily special and it was the best meal I’ve ever had in Kyoto. Heck this restaurant is probably the best I’ve ever had in multiple visits to Kyoto! The broth was beefy and delicious and the noodles had amazing texture. My SO’s chicken sasamen was also amazingly tasty. To be honest, I couldn’t completely read what the daily rotating menu was - it’s not translated but everything else on the normal menu is - but I decided to go with it anyways. The ladies there are also very nice and speak pretty good English - I highly recommend...

The staff is friendly and kind. I accidentally brought in a outside drink and not only did they say it was fine, they brought me a cold cup to pour my drink into.
