DA.UCHI CURRY — Restaurant in Kyoto

Da.uchi Curry is a Dutch currybar (not too sure why dutch) except that it's quirky logo is a play on Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer's painting The Milkmaid.

Have long been introduced to Da.Uchi's beautiful plating of curries but never had the opportunity to try until today.

Had beef cheek curry and chicken fritters curry which was 🤯 delicious. Each curry has its own distinctive spice aroma and flavour, and every mouthful of curry with the rice was a treat on your senses... from the colourful plating to the perfume of the spices to the different level of spiciness of the curries to the texture you get from the curries, meats, rice and pickles...

This place definitely feels more like an experience rather than just a place to have (Excellent) curry. The bonito/shrimp curry felt like a special and unique treat, and the tasteful choice of music only accentuated the attention that was put into many details: From the well balanced flavors to the confident and cool disposition of the staff, it is a place that I would like to recommend...

DA.UCHI CURRY さんです。以前は丸太町通りで居酒屋の間借り営業をされてましたが、いまは移転されて荒神口のほうにお店はあります。私は正午ごろ伺いチキンカレーとキーマカレーの2種のあいがけカレーをいただきました。とても美味しいスパイシーカレーでした。私が入店後、お昼時なのですぐに満席になりました。私が退店するころには、そとに入店待ちのお客様が並んでいました。ここのカレーを並んででも食べたい方の気持ちはよくわかります。私もいつか再訪したいと思いました。

「ダウチ カレー」さんです。「にし川」さんという居酒屋さんをお昼だけ間借り営業されています。営業時間は、11:30～14:00ですが、カレーは１日限定15食なので、売り切れしだい営業は終わってしまいます。カレーは基本2種類用意されていて、あいがけもできます。私がうかがった日は、海老のカレーとキーマカレーの２種類で、私は、2種のあいがけカレーをいただきました。海老のカレーはマイルドな仕上がりなのですが、コクがあり海老の風味がよく出ています。キーマカレーのほうも、スパイシーさのなかにカレーの風味がうまくマッチしていて、美味しいです。カレー皿の上にポテトサラダが添えてあり、こちらも箸休めにいい感じでアクセントになっています。カレーの価格は、海老カレー￥950、キーマカレー￥950、海老とキーマのあいがけカレー￥1200 でどのカレーにもミニサラダが付いています。居酒屋さんの店内もいい雰囲気を演出しており、居酒屋さんでカレーというと合わないかなとも思いがちですが、こちらのお店はいい雰囲気の中で食事が楽しめます。☆の評価は5ポイント制なのでいろいろ思う事あって☆4ヶの評価にしましたが、カレーの味は☆4.5...
