After a busy day of exploring Osaka I decided to grab some mochi to finish the day. I ordered the 3 pack mochi, and it was delicious. I especially liked the chocolate mochi. The lady running the shop was very friendly too. Even though I don't speak very much Japanese, she was very clear with me and was very kind despite the possibility that I may have said some stuff incorrectly. I really appreciated her hospitality. This is the best thing I’ve eaten in Japan. The food here is amazing, but whatever this mochi has about it has a chokehold on me. Every meal I’ve had I think back to this. My most recent regret was getting a parfait on my to-have list instead of passing on it to get more of these mochi. I will be returning tonight to get as much of these in me before I have to leave.
