ABC-MART Ueno — Local services in Tokyo

If you're on a serious show hunt, ABC Mart in Ueno is one of the recommended places to shop for shoes, especially sneaker brands. They have several outlets all over Tokyo, but if you're in Ueno, this outlet is fairly large, with multiple floors. They sell shoes for everyone - men, women and even kids. From sneakers to working shoes, you can find them all here. And what more, the best time is during the sale season. But every time I come around here, there is some sort of sale. Spring, summer, autumn, winter sale, so always on sale equals good...

The team here is extremely helpful - I was looking for a specific pair that I later learnt was an online-only pair, but the staff was sooo helpful and went out of his way to get it ordered for me. The shoe arrived within 2 days, and fit perfectly. I didn't manage to get his name, but thank you kind sir who helped me obtain this pair of Nitro 2!

They have plenty of shoes (not many brands to choose from, though, mostly ABC Mart's own brands). However, the clerks on the first floor are constantly shouting to the passers-by so it's extremely noisy.
