I went there on 30 september 2018 at sunday. First you need to queue to get into the store. Its 10 minutes long. At the inside the store there is a convoyer of shoes. Thats very cool. If you manage to enter the store, good for you! You can now pick whatever cloth or jacket or sweater, or hats etc(if you have the money)
i bought a bape shark hoodie mix colour jacket for ¥32,000. The jackets prize range between ¥13,000 cheapest to ¥44,000 most expensive. T-shirt prize range between ¥6,000 cheapest to ¥20,000 most expensive. They sell wallet, bags, and even baby booster!
Now lets talk about the staff. They say the staff are rude and impolite But in reality: 1st. They are really polite and all the staff greet you nicely 2nd. When you need help, the staff will help you as best as he/she can. In a polite manner. 3rd. If you're lucky enough. You can chat with the staff about the bape stocks and information of the shirt/jacket/sweater,etc and even make jokes.
After you pick what thing you want to buy, you'll need to queue for the cashier. The queue takes about 13 minutes. After you are at the cashier. You need to tell what thing you are buying. Then they will pack it up for you. Then, my favorite part, Paying :p. After you pay you walk out the store with pride as the staff thank you for buying bape.
Thats my personal experience. Whats yours? Like my review...
Read moreVisited the store on 28 Dec 2022 around 7.30pm. One of the female staff was outrightly rude in her reply when I asked her if there is any size. She don't give any smile and just said 'No'. Later on, after selecting one t-shirt (which was served by another male staff), i was waiting to pay. The same female staff was behind the counter and was communicating with me in Japanese when I told her I don't understand. They took a new T-shirt from their store and because it was folded, I thought it was not the design I selected. Then I walked and took the designed i chosen and showed the female staff. She stared with wide opened eyes and fiercely pointed at the folded T-shirt. I had wanted to asked her what was her problem but my hubby came talking to me. It was the first time I had encounter such rude service from a Japanese staff.
I went to a total of 3 different Bape stores (Shibuya, Harajuku and Kyoto) Only the male Eurasian staff in the Kyoto branch gave me good service. The rest all gave a stuck up attitude that I really can't comprehend. I would rather not purchase then be served with such...
Read moreVisited the one in Harajuku last year and walked out feeling humiliated. Ms Yui from this Shibuya store totally restored my faith in their service. She handled all our requests for sizes professionally and without any complaints. She was patient and friendly too. Most of the other staff in this store looked approachable. Even though I was carrying a toddler, the staff standing at the door welcomed me with a smile and directed me where to park the stroller. It would have been perfect if not for the lady staff with afro hair. She was aloof and looked at customers with a superior face and spoke in condescending tone. Somehow, she looked very much like the one who literally chased us out of the Harajuku store last year. I wonder how their HR trains their customer service staff. If only all their staff serves their customers...
