Gundam & Gunpla Store: Otachu Akihabara No.4 — Local services in Tokyo

Need to update my review, just came back again about a month later and these guys had the large Aerial gunpla that was sold out most other stores, and they were charging 5000 yen less than everyone else. If I could add another star to my already 5 star review I would. Best gunpla shop I've ever been in.

Original review: I'd been traveling around Japan for the last month from Nagasaki all the way to Sendai with many stops in between. I was checking for specific gunpla related items the whole way, and this was the only shop out of 30+ I visited that had all of the older released kits I was looking for. Amazing place to find rare gunpla, second only to probably Gundam Base. It's a small space upstairs in a Bandai Namco themed building, with a single elevator going up (or a stairwell). You are greeted with a corridor made to look like a gateway with Gundam openings playing in sequence of release. Staff are helpful and know enough English to bring you to locations of the shop you might find specific gunpla you are looking for. They also have a lottery area for various kits and gunpla related goods should you be inclined to do a little gacha while you are there.

If you are into Gunpla, this is a store you have to visit when you are in Tokyo. The store is on the 7th floor, but there is only one elevator that fit maybe 8 people each round so be patient. The entrance that leads to the elevator is on the left of the Ichiban Kuji store. You can also use the escalators at the Namco store to go up to the 5th floor and walk up the stairs (in the very back). Prices are very fair based on what the other second-hand stores are selling, but you may not consider them a bargain.
