Avoid this location like the plague. Had a terrible experience with one of the salesmen there who was extremely pushy and wouldn’t listen to me. I asked if they had a 32 in stock, but he kept insisting that I get the 33 because the 32 would be too tight. Mind you, this was for a pair of jeans that were a wide/loose cut. And to top it all off, I had tried on a 32 in that exact store 2 hours ago - and they fit perfectly. When I put the 33 on, you could clearly tell that there was excess space on the hips and they were barely hanging on. Given that it’s raw denim, the waist will stretch so the fit will continue to worsen. He should have known this but never said anythjng about that, and instead said it fit perfectly, while literally pinching an inch of excess fabric at my hips. Doesn’t get more crazy than that. The cherry on top was him not even bothering to mention that they don’t accept returns or exchanges. He just stapled a note on the bill AFTER the purchase had already been made.

Instead, please go support the Hinoya at the corner of the street. The staff there are much better and actually listen to you. They will take the time to have a discussion and figure out what pair of jeans suits you best, rather than trying to boost their...

I was assisted by Suzuki-san. He had extremely good recommendations for fit and break-in. I came in looking for brands that they unfortunately didn’t carry. They were however, able to recommend alternatives and I walked out happy with my purchase. I wish they pointed me to the next store when I mentioned looking for the brand Fullcount as that was what I had my eyes set on but they are salesmen after all and are not obliged to do so. went here twice and both experiences were great. I went to all the hinoya stores in japan and this is by far the best one. Customer service is on point and they aren’t pushy at all with purchases unlike the corner hinoya store that’s popular from tiktok and instagram. They have the same stock and I much rather come here.
