Selection of the store was ok. There are other bigger Kindal stores.
Unfortunately, we had a really bad experience with the first-floor male staff while purchasing the LV keepall. I spoke English to him and noticed he was struggling to understand what I was saying, so I used Google's translate for assistance.
I asked him if the bag was a full set, and he gave me a confused and frustrated look. After using the translate and showing it to him, he still gave a very confused, frustrated look. He replied, "This is Keepall." So I assumed the translation was wrong, and he didn't understand what I was asking.
Moving on, I checked the bag myself, and indeed, it was a full set. While I was taking out the stuffing (they used paper for stuffing), the staff took it away with frustration and constantly told me, "Trash trash!". I told him ok. But he kept repeating "trash trash!" Looking rather frustrated like I owe him lots of money.
After checking the bag and the condition, I decided to purchase the bag even though his service was the worst in the whole of Japan. When I told him "ok I would like to buy it please." He took the paper stuffing and stuffed back the bag with dismay and said to me,"One day! One day!" I was very confused, so my friend finally decided to step in and spoke to him in Japanese, telling him that I would like to purchase the bag.
My friend had to tell him TWICE in Japanese that I am purchasing the bag. He refused to look at my friend, and after being spoken to in Japanese TWICE, he just looked at me and said, "Checkout?" And I replied with a yes. The price went up from what I recall seeing a ¥280,000 price tag to a ¥284,340. When I asked if it's tax free price, he raised his voice and said, "COMMISSION COMMISSION!".
During my transaction with him, there was an American tourist who also needed his assistance, and he spoke very kindly, softly and helpful towards the American tourist. He spoke to me with much anger and frustration.
Here is the worst part. After purchasing the bag. He gave me the bag without a carrier (paper bag). And because my friend got frustrated and stepped out of the store, I didn't know how to ask him for a paper bag. So I just took the bag and left the store. As seen in the picture, I had to carry my bag in its dustbag back to my hotel.
In no way was I or my friend rude to him, nor did we raise our voice to him. We smiled and tried our best to communicate with him, but he stayed angry and rude all the way during our time in the store with him. I do not know why my friend and I were treated with such disrespect.
This was my worst experience during my trip to Japan. No other service staff is as rude as this guy. Even my Japanese friends were shocked at his behaviour, especially since I was purchasing an expensive item.
For the management reference, this transaction was done on 18th January 2025, 1758hrs. 1st...

I came in and wanted a specific bag yesterday night (21st october). The worker completely ignored me when there was literally no one in the store, obsessed with his phone. After much time the employee finally let go of his phone and we could try it.
We wanted the bag and we asked some basic questions like: “ Where is the serial number” or “how do you know its genuine” as it was our first time buying secondhand bags in Japan. To his answer? “I dont know if its real, its up to the buyer to decide” ??????? WHAT? You tell me you dont check the authenticity of the bag first or what? I assumed this was just bad translation but he did not care at all. He said you want it or not, as he did not know if it was real! Completely dismissing out questions.
After much hesitation we bought it, but his actions were simply ‘thanks’. This guy had 0 manners, 0 respect for the customer and has absolutely no clue about working in this store. We are still unsure if its real due to your employee actions. We thought Kindal at least had authenticated the items and made the customer feel safe buying second hand which is the...
Read moreWorst Kindal I've ever been to. This location is in the busiest part of Shibuya which means the foot traffic was insane. This store was split into 4(?) floors which all required a tiny elevator to access. The floors were so cramped there was hardly any space to move around and I gave up after trying to look through the products on the 2nd floor as I was shoulder to shoulder with other customers and had nowhere to walk. Products were disappointing on the 1st and 2nd floors.. maybe there was better stuff on the ones I didn't make it to. Maybe I'll try...
