I love a dish called 'Omrice' in Japan. It's a dish of ketchup rice with chicken and an omelette on top. There are several Omrice specialty restaurants in Shibuya, but I hold this one in high regard. It's small, with only about 10 seats combined, so not a place to stay for long. However, this restaurant is clean and stylish. Japan has a high level of food processing technology. Even the eggs are distributed in liquid form, not fresh. Of course it has a particular taste unique to instant food.I sometimes feel that other restaurants taste that Omrice. At this restaurant, the rice is fried, the eggs are beaten, and the rice is baked after the order is placed. Therefore, the dishes are not served quickly. But the freshly made omelette is so delicious that you don't care about that. Very tasty and beautiful meal. That's what sets them apart from other restaurants. The fact that the restaurant is open until late at night is also appreciated. It's unfortunate that there is not enough seating, so you have to wait in line on the steps outside the restaurant. It's a taste that wait until get into a restaurant to eat. English is understood by some...
Read moreI had the chance to try the Omurice at this restaurant today, and it was absolutely delightful! From the very first bite, the soft, silky omelet seemed to dance on my palate, perfectly wrapping around the flavorful fried rice. The fried rice was seasoned to perfection, with every grain distinct and carrying a gentle aroma of tomatoes. Paired with the rich and creamy sauce, every mouthful was pure bliss.
Not only was the taste exceptional, but the presentation was also a highlight. The golden omelet glistened beautifully, and the drizzle of sauce on top was just right, making the dish even more appetizing. The staff was attentive, thoughtfully asking about spice levels and ingredient preferences, which added a personal touch to the dining experience.
If you’re a fan of Japanese cuisine or looking for a comforting meal, this Omurice is definitely...
Read moreI came here after shopping at the Mega Don Quijote. Knowing tomorrow I planned to go to Tsukiji I wanted something the opposite of seafood. I found this place with amazing reviews which was right around the corner. I was able to be seated immediately at the counter and ordered via mobile. The menu is available in Japanese and English, and the food came up quick since much of the components (rice, sauce) are prepared in advance. I ordered the wagyu omurice and added cheese sauce along with a small beer. As others mention they also give you a free bowl of soup. They’re very friendly and the vibe is quiet and relaxed which was really nice after the chaos of mega donki. The flavor of the omurice was great and the egg was super fluffy. Would recommend...
