This is my personal opinion as someone who had trainings from professionals and who’s doing their own nails - for a reason.

I wanted to spoil myself once by not doing my own nails for vacation and I regret listening to all the good reviews - just because I have my own standards! If you’re used to an all-inclusive service, maybe that’s not your store. If you love the bare minimum and don’t care about nail static, that’s your store!

Pro: cute stuff / store owner, cute color

Con: no preparation at all. No primer, no base, just a clear base, color and topcoat. No manicure. The clear gel is just applied flat. Not even aware of building an apex, for your nails health. The gel got applied uneven, so my tip is thicker than then in the middle of my nail. The baseline got ruined at one of my thumbs, luckily I saw it so I could safe the second thumb. Ruining the baseline is sich a ko- criterion. Rip static the second. Tbh I’m worried if these nails make it through three weeks here in Japan. The worst part: no sterilization of the tools. Be aware that they’ll work on your hands with used bits, used clippers and used files! That’s nasty. In general: the table and all the tools are used, not cleaned properly and look nasty.

Nails are not sealed well and started chipping 6 days later. Messaged them to let them know and was simply ignored. The prices here are not expensive compared to North America but it’s considered expensive compared to other local salons. Really not worth the 11000 yen price tag for it to only last 6 days. My nails in the past with other salons lasted over a month without any chipping.

Update: nail salon messaged me back basically telling me this is fully my issue that gel nails chip after only 6 days and offered zero resolution or accountability. They told me “I’m the only person this has ever happened to in their three years of operations”. I’ve never done anything to potentially harm my nails during this time and I’ve been getting my nails done for years and I know the chipping is not suppose to happen. Really do not recommend...

This place is the absolute best!! It was so easy to book via instagram dms and the communication was very fast and efficient. I was able to get my nails done, a lash lift, and an eyebrow lift done in the same appointment for SO cheap. Not only that, they all look amazing- I was shocked by how good they looked!! The nail artist was very friendly and spoke very good english. She even helped me practice some of my broken Japanese! Even though the lash + eyebrow artist didn't know as much english, she was still able to communicate so easily via google translate that it wasn't an issue at all. And I forgot to mention that I came in without any inspo and the nail artist helped to design it for me! I'm so thankful she was there to help, otherwise I wouldn't have known what to do with myself lol. The magnet polish is to...
