While I did enjoy the selection of glasses and the way the staff walked my girlfriend and I through what type of glasses fit our face shape the most, I was emotionally pressured into making the purchase even though I did not want to after they revealed the full price at the end. This was because they only showed me the frame price at the start and not the lens price until the very end, which went out of my budget. So a warning for anyone who goes here, do not expect to easily leave if you decide you don't want to make the purchase midway, ask to check the price of both frame and glasses at the start to check if they fall into your budget.

To start, we made an appointment online since the rating looked good, then the female staff showed us the frame selections after we went in. The prices was slightly out of what I wanted to pay for, but not too much so we continued. My girlfriend then got a eye test for the prescription, but then I was showed another set of prices for the lenses. I was not shown the lens prices beforehand which was definitely more expensive than what I could have purchased at other online retailers so I did not want to purchase it. I told the staff that we would like some more time to consider the purchase so would it be possible end the appointment. She instead says, " え(huh)？！... (awkward silence) ... いいや(well/no)～それはちょっと(that's going to be a little)...難しいですね(difficult)...". At this point, it felt embarrassing to keep asking, especially since my gf was besides me. It really felt like the staff was trying to take advantage of my pride to stop me from leaving. I also didn't want to cause any commotion since I was already a foreigner (although my gf was Japanese), so I decided to just suck it up and make the purchase. In total, I spent around $390 even though I could have just made a purchase online for like $100 instead (which was what I paid for my current glasses). This left a really sour taste and they could've just let us pay the eye exam only instead and...
